Golden Hour

In photography, the golden hour is the period
of daytime shortly after sunrise or before sunset, during which daylight
is redder and softer than when the Sun is higher in the sky. The period
of time shortly before sunrise and shortly after sunset is called the ”magic hour,” especially by cinematographers. (Wiki)

Something I should do more of is shoot in the golden hour. I’ve never been a great fan of the yellow colour of the light to be honest but I’ve recently been warming to it.

Here’s one from a recent early morning walk. A lovely old workhorse, a 1943 Dodge still in use as recovery vehicle.
